How do you feel about back to back seats

My starcraft came with these from the factory, however by the time I got the boat there were no seats. I have never used back to back seats and just wondered what the pro and cons of these seats are. I am leaning toward these seats because we use our boat to cruise vs fishing.

Geedub if you cruise and dont fish I would go back with the back to bck lounge seats . They are usually quite comfy and can be layed out to sun on if SWMBO so decides she wants to get some sun :D.

They are comfy, but eat up a lot of deck space unless you really have room to roam in your boat...as already said, depends on how you use your rig.

i prefer them as they have a tendency to move weight forward in the boat. rather than a sofa style seat across the stern, and captains chairs.

I prefer them. They are more comfy. I am going to put them back in my boat in the spring. Right now I have 4 single seats. I will lose a bit of space but I'd rather the looks and comfort.

when i refinished the interior on my bow rider I put port side back to back then captains seat I put on a slide and swivel and a seat behind in the corner on a swivel. I found it broke up the boat nicely for fishing or cruising and it got rid of my problem of someone sitting behind me. (drives me nuts) kinda a unconventional arrangement but I like.

the more space the better as far as I'm concerned with my boat, so I say no to lounge seats, but I do say yes for comfort.

I don't like them, but I like to fish. Too much to walk around when you are trying to catch a big one. I'm only going to have one swivel in boat, along with the bench on the back and bow seats up front. Leaving out the passenger/lookout seat all together. Leaves room for a big cooler. Less passengers, more beer and fishing is my philosophy.

When I'm fishing, that's the key. I want no more than one other person fishing with me, unless the boat can EASILY handle a third. That's what the cooler is for.
