I recently took off the water pump to rebuild . when i took it apart i kept everything together to make sure i put it back together right . but on the new kit there is a seal that has a gap in it .it is the round one about 3/4 to 1 inch in diameter. it just has a rectangle piece missing at the bottom on one side . does it matter which way it ges on ? if so, Which way do i install it ? any help will be appreciated . thx in advance
