when i first start the motor,it acts as tho it is running on 2 Cyl. It won't
clear out & take fuel. It idles good. After it idles & runs for about 5 minutes
you can give it trottle & it will clear out. After it clears out, it runs good
the rest of the day. The next day after it sits,it will do the same thing
again. The plugs are really wet,so I no it is running rich. I put new plugs in,
but it didn't help. I'm thinking I have a fuel problem.
I unhooked the oil pump ,mixing oil with fuel didn't help.
Does anyone have an idea what might be going on or any suggestions would be appreciated. Could it be a diaphram in the fuel pump or carbs that has to
get soaked with gas before working????????

And how is the compression and spark ??

The compression is good. I have 120 to 125 on each cylinder. I haven't checked the spark. Could the spark be weaker cold than when hot?
If so, how do I check that?

I rebuilt the carb. 2 yrs ago. When i started having trouble this year,
i took them apart & cleaned them. I didn't see any problem.
How do I lean the carbs. out?

Hello!
It's sounds like the temp switch to the Quickstart is broken, try to replace it. The switch is placed between the sparkplug on the left side. 2 wires, one tan and one white/black.
