I have 77 merc 115hp engine on a 1986 16 foot glastron bow rider. The boat weighs about 1100lbs with the motor on it and usaully carries about 500lbs of weight total wieght of 1600lbs. It maxs out at 33mph at 5500 rpm and picks up really fast, the bow never lifts up it always stays down. The pitch is set to last hole towards the transom of the boat. What pitch prop do i need to get a better top speed and what pitch setting should i be using? Not sure what prop i currently have.probably stock!

Just found out that max rpm is supposed to be between 5000-5600 rpm if this helps.

Ayuh,... At 5500rpms, You've got the Right prop,...
Try moving the pin Out from the boat, 1 hole at a time, til you find the prefered setting...
