not fuel injected.
reccomended gap according to manual .35.
did not change cap/rotor or wires.
just got back from spending 2 nights on the boat
on the way home notice rich gas smell also smoking. got on plain ran fine oil pressure good
temp good/on the last leg of trip coming in to the cove it almost sounded and felt like we were runing out of gas when on plain but we did not because just filled up. then stbd engine stalled and cicuit breaker popped for stbd engine. I just replaced plugs before trip.several questions
1.could it be the carb people on long island we are having big problems with the ethanol in the gas
could it be fuel filter/fuel water separator/
2. could also my altenator be bad causing the stbd eng boat to stall.or possibly the batteries.port engine no problem.
alt drops to 10 at idle then rev up the engine volts go to 13/14 when this episdoe happen dropped to 10 and died.
