Opinions on Boat Purchase

Hey Guys,

Looking at this rig and wonder if anyone can give me any insight good or bad on the boat itself as well as the motor.

For those who don't want to download the doc file, its a 2000 Princecraft 165 with a 2001 Johnson 90HP 2stroke. Walk through windshield, bow rider etc. Looks to be in great shape but motor hasn't been run for 2 years. Was firing last night on old gas, but they are going to work on getting it running before they sell it. He's asking $12,000. If they can't get the motor running, but the compression checks out I will offer $10,000 as is with motor to be repaired.

Very very nice boat. And that Johnson should be a great motor for it. That full enclosure top is worth some $$ as well. The bow cushions, trolling motor, etc. are all very nice extras also. I think the price is fair HOWEVER....that price is for a ready to go NO issues boat. They need to get everything 100% sorted with the motor. Once that's taken care of, I think $12k would be a fair price, and $10k would be a great deal.
