Hey,
I just bought a 20' Stratos 201 Pro with a Evinrude 200 XP
Could someone tell me if these motors are reliable the longevity and what to look for as far problems they may have. I had just a water pump install how hard should it **** water as it only dripples thanks for any comments

i have 74 johnson that still runs strong. as for pee hole, is it cloged?

Mine sprays out 4 feet, sounds like you have a clog.

New to you outboard?, get the proper factory service manual

Thats the best $40 you'll spend on the engine.
If you want it to last..

Then change the lower gear oil, use new seals on screws.
Remove prop, inspect shaft for fishing line, grease and replace prop with new pin.
Order rebuild kits for carbs, simple job.
Do compression test, write numbers in manual.
Change fuel filter on engine.
Install water seperator.
Make sure the warning buzzer works.
