tach no longer works

I have a Larson SEi 180 with a Volvo Penta 4.3. I was out boating today and my tach stopped working. All the remaining guages still work. I looked under the dash and the tach is electronic. I am guessing maybe a bad ground somewhere on the tach, but does anyone have any suggestions?

There are three connections on the tach (four if you count the light). The "S" terminal is the signal from the engine ignition system. The tach requires +12 volts and ground. If any of those three connections are loose or disconnected, or if the sense signal from the ignition is missing the tach won't work.
