Used 2008 Glastron GT 205

I'm looking to buy a used 2008 Glastron GT 205 with the 5.0L Volvo Penta (220 HP). The boat has about 30 hours, trailer included, and has the XL package. I went and test drove the boat and it is in great condition. The seller is trying to get $22,750.00, which includes life vests, skis, kneeboard and tube. Is this a good deal?

While I'm no expert on depreciation, it sounds to me that the seller isn't giving enough of it.

When I was deciding back in 2007 whether to go with the GT185 or the 205 (I got the 185), I seem to remember the 205 basing just under 19.8K w/ the 4.3 L. I can't remember what the XL and the 5.0 L added (maybe 3k give or take...................granted, these were dealer quoted prices not MSRP).

Just eyeballing it it seems a bit high, even at 30 hrs. If it had a wakeboard tower I'd say it was probably pretty fair (considering depreciation).

be sure to check the for stress cracks around the winshield I looked at a 2003 GX185 and it has about 8 cracks coming down from the windshield. I was very surprised because I thought the VEC hull was supposed to be good do your research

I've seen various posts about gelcoat cracks on the VEC's. Made me a bit paranoid, but knock on wood I haven't gotten any.
