We bought a 1967 Thunderbird with an evinrude motor. The wiring is all screwed up. Nothing will turn on. The guy had about 10 wires ran straight to the battery and about six ran to a bolt just hanging there. We are so confused this is our first boat and would love to get it on the water before summer ends. We can do it all ourselves if we have a diagram to go by. Can anyone help us with this we would really appreciate it? Thank you very much for reading:confused:.

is there a dealer that you can get a manual from? or you try the library.
there is some good stuff on line but i dont have a link right this second.
You really need a book so you have the diagrams and the tests if it doesnt work when your done.

Back to the original poster......
Go to the "Electrical forum" and ask the same question.
We here on the forum can answer, just post in the right forum.
Just trying to point in the right direction for the selected question.:D
