Buddy List Notifications?

Just a thought..Many other "social networking" sites have an "accept" or decline" button to add friends.
Here, you just add em, and then??? Just a list of people you have connected with?
Perhaps iboats can kick this around somewhat?
Thus far, I have manually added...(in no particular order...)

Kev I belong to other vbulletin based web groups that have this feature so it is available through v bulletin to the mods perhaps one of them will see this and get R done .

I didnt even know we had the buddy list here honestly now I will have to go looking around my usercp . Carefull getting to many Kentuckians and Hoosiers on your list though ya know the whole Hatfield and McCoy thing ROFLMAO.

That would be cool to have a Buddy list that you are talking about, There are quite a few that I would like on that list, Soo Come on Iboats "GET ER DONE!!"

Ok I found the buddy/ignore list in the user CP and added ya Kev to the Buddy list that is .

ROFLMAO Kev it wont work I have even tried the mute button here although it does eventually work . The problem is the Mute button usually gets SWMBO irate and She gets vocal for a short while but then goes back inside .

Having a 'new posts by buddies' would be a killer button to have. I'd like to make an RSS feed out of that one.

Is there really any point to the buddy list.. other than just having it?

I knew it was there, just had not used it here since it does not show up on the screen. I know you can go to Quick Links and it is there. Another board I am on has a menu of items on the right where the add is, and one of the things there is the Buddy List, when you log in you can see which ones are online. I use it to keep up with people I know and people I know give good information.

I just added Cheapboatkev, TashasDaddy and JB will work on some others as I go.

I wasn't aware we had one either...

I added Rick, Kev, Waven, Lowkee, TD, and Ez so far.

You guys seem to always reply to my posts, and Rick we had some good dialogue going too!

Num I added you to mine as well. You can actually click on the persons name at the top of their post and one of the options will be add to buddy list in the drop down menu.
