Not hard at all. I would recommend getting a factory service manual which has step by step instructions for your engine.

You have to drop the LU, of course. There's a nut in the front, two nuts over the cav plate, and 3 bolts from the bottom, one of which is under the electrode. It just drops off. Driveshaft is splined, water tube goes through a seal, and the shift shaft is splined.
