Recreating the bilge. Did it do it right?

Today I finished up the bilge bowl that goes under the deck by laminating strips of 1.5 oz CSM to create a bowl. I think there is about 2 to three layers of fiberglass and with much overlap.

Here is a photo with some 6 oz hexel woven extending over it which will be removed tomorrow.

There seem to be no gaps in the layers but I will check tomorrow by filling it with water.

Is there anything else I should have done or something I need to do next to make it 100% water proof?

From what I remember, the original bilge was kind of thick.

Nice work. From the pictures, it looks like the bowl is up against the transom? How does water leave the bowl, as I can't see a drain in these photos.

I may be mistaken, but if you look at the first pic closely, you can see a hole.

The transom hole is near the bottom and hard to see.

Did I do a good job with this or is there something I forgot?

Well, if the rest of the deck is sealed, then you don't have to worry about drain holes from under the deck to the bilge area...that's the only thing I think you'd have any issue with.

The problem is, if you get water beneath that deck you have no way of getting rid of it. I would install a hatch and a bilge pump w/ auto switch.
