I was wondering if anyone knows how to sycronize carbs on a Johnson 150hp outboard with three carbs? It runs good at high speeds but not on low speed. I have replaced all electronics on motor.:(

Link and sync is specific to year and model. Your best bet is to purchase an OEM manual for your motor and follow the procedure step-by-step as documented. It's a do the whole thing as printed or don't bother kind of procedure.

one thing I hate about those OEM manuls is following the instructions on a long drawn out proceedure only to hit a step where OMC TOOL# XYZ must be used.

bam you are stuck...and maybe the tool is a glorified screw driver!! that 1,000 of jobs have been done with out the tool..BUT YOU JUST DONT KNOW if you REALLY need that tool.

the other manuals( have faults too) they at least tell you if you REALLY NEED that special tool

OEM service manuals are printed for the service departments at the dealers that handle their brand. They also buy the special tools to do the job right. The average consumer could not afford the cost of those tools and that's why so many jobs that require them get botched.

For the record, I have yet to encounter a special tool requirement in a link and sync with the one notable exception of setting the WOT timing using a test tank and a test wheel. For that procedure, you can use the Joe Reeves method in the FAQ as a substitute.
