Either the round harness or the flat 5-pin harness have a reverse wire for brakes

RoyR did you figure it out ?

I'm going with the same setup and was wondering the same question

Do all the 7 to 5 plug have the 5 plug wired to the 7 backup light ? ( I have the OEM chevy towing outlet)

I believe all 7 pin round connectors are standard - since all campers and trailers are standardized. That being the case, the center pin is usually designated for reverse lights, thus, the solenoid actuator.

Sorry for the late reply, but yes, it was the standard wiring. Ended up rewiring the trailer with a flat 5-pin harness (extra wire for the solenoid) and using the 7-pin round adapter.
