Well I sold the boat today. Got $950 for it. Good deal for me and I think a fare deal for the buyer. Even the seller did ok since he is in the military and deployed Monday. He was glad to be rid of it and it was given to him for free so I think everyone was happy

That applies to both buyer and seller. Some folks are too in love with their stuff and ask stratospheric prices. Some sellers get down right rude by saying, Don't even think of low balling me!

So, whats the story? How did you sell it? Did you decide that you didn't want it and list it on craigslist or did someone offer to buy it from you?

I guess any deal that both sides walk away happy is a good deal. I know I've sold things for less than they were worth just to get rid of them. And good riddance, too. That's free trade.

just sold my trihull yesterday...got 1900 for her...i was pleased
