Re: Warped Skis, anybody else have this problem?
SCARY! OK that it the wierdest thing I have ever seen. No curve on the tips either. That alone would make them risky to ski on. You don't store them in a 300 degree oven do you?
I would march back to where you bought them or send those very photos for reference to were ever you bought them. Good luck. i found some info that could be helpful:
O?BRIEN WATER SPORTS WARRANTY RETURNS
When you have something that needs to be returned to O?Brien for warranty, you will need a Return Authorization number to put on the outside of the carton or envelope (returns cannot be accepted without an RA number). The best and easiest way to request an RA number is via the web. Just go to
http://obrien.com/ra.request.htm and fill in the blanks. Another good option is to email O?Brien Customer Service at
customerservice@obrien.com. Please give as much detail as possible, and include your O?Brien Customer Number. A low-res photo is always helpful, if possible.
A fallback option is to call O?Brien Customer Service at 800-662-7436. If it?s a tube, ask if you can cut the tube and/or tube cover into parts (valve area, warning labels, and the defective area) to save on return freight. It is very rare that you?d need to return the whole tube or cover. We?re not in business to enrich UPS!
With the R.A. number plainly visible on the carton or envelope, return the item(s) to O?Brien at one of the following addresses:
If by US Postal Service:
O?Brien Warranty
P.O. Box 97087
Redmond, WA 98073
If by UPS/FEDEX or another carrier:
O?Brien Warranty
14615 N.E 91st Street
Redmond, WA 98052
It?s best to get in the habit of returning warranty items as soon as practical after you receive them, rather than letting them pile up.
If you ever have any questions or problems with these procedures, please call us at 1-425-202-2220, or email us at
returns@obrien.com. Thanks, and have a great day!
Sincerely,
O?Brien
