I took compression readings on a 1992 Johnson 200 today that I am thinking of buying. With all plugs pulled, warmed up and throttle open, I got 94-96 on all six cylinders. I have read on here that the old OMC V-6s ran lower #s, but I am not sure how old was meant as "old". When I look at used V-6 OMCs for sale on eb#y and other sites, they state the usual 110-125 that I am used to seeing (in general). It is a 1992 Stratos 201 Pro in unbelievable condition for $5k. Thoughts? Thanks!
