Carb rebuild/replace?

As I'm digging into my I/O more the carb looks nasty. Black grime all over it. The reason I'm doing the tune-up is my rig has been running badly at idle. Where I boat there is a no-wake zone that takes the better part of 15 minutes to get out of. By the time I'm ready to throttle up the engine seems "loaded up". It will miss on a cylinder or two for the first 30 seconds and then clears right out. Pulled the plugs today and the 4 in the rear are black. Not wet but she's obviously running rich.

Time for some carb work?

I'm a fan of rebuilding carbs do to it being cheap and easy to do and the Bennie's of a clean carb make it well worth it BUT if its just running a lil rich just a little adjusting on the mix may fix your problem and a good cleaning never hurts :D
