How to remove air silencer assy on E-Tec 225

Greetings - we have a 2006 225 E-Tec and need to replace the fuel line. Tracing it noticed it goes under the air silencer assembly on the front of the motor. We removed the two screws, the top cover and got it loose.

We cannot figure out how to get it off... it appears that it could be two separate pieces itself too, however I do not want to break it (prying it open with a screwdriver).

How do you remove the air silencer assy?

Yes there are only 2 bolts.And they are hard to remove on the bottom without removing the cowl first, but you can do it, it is just a tight fit with the cowl on.

Remove the front screws and loosen the back screws on the motor pans. You can then seprate the pans at the front about an inch or so and wiggle the air box out very easily.

Removed the two bolts off (see diagram here:

But now the assembly itself is loose, but there seems to be something preventing it from being lifted off the motor - something below it? It moves as if it's loose but something is in the way or ? ...
