America's Got Talent Semi Finals, part 2. I try to watch when the acts I like are on. That is about one out of five.

But Barbara Padilla brought tears to my eyes tonight. What a voice! What a performance! And she is gorgeous, to boot.

They should repeat it tomorrow night, NBC at 8: EST, I think. Maybe it is 9:. You would do yourself a real favor by watching it.

We watch it every Tues and Wed, and Yes she is very good!! The chicken catcher lives very near me and we are all rooting for him, he's always on our local news, We also hope he makes it too!! She is very good opera singer and has alot of talent

she is fantastic at what she does, but i don't see sustaining a 70 to 90 minute Vegas show.

I kept skipping this thread wondering who the hell Barbara Padilla was. Duh now I recognize the name. She is great, lest we remember there was another opera singer that won one season. The ex door to door insurance salesman.

I don't give a flip whether she would play well in Vegas. She would play well at The Hideout, I guarantee.

Most of what passes for entertainment in Vegas either offends me or puts me to sleep.

I don't kick up my heels anywhere or anytime.

I was there as a guest of a client.

Most of what passes for entertainment has that effect on me. I'd much rather be doing something recreational.

I saw a hypothesis somewhere that for every tv in any given home every member of that home lost five IQ points

Watched several of the shows where she sang. I am not an opera fan what so ever but her presence really was moving. More so I think was the way she comes across as being so genuine and humble. Hope she makes it all the way.
