What Model Penn Yan Boat is This??

Call me crazy, but I just purchased this boat this past Sunday, and have no clue what model it is. I was told by the fella that I purchased it from that it was a 15' Penn Yan, which it does say on the side, howvever I can not find a picture or description that is a exact match to my boat. Can anyone tell me what I've purchased??? The boat needs a little TLC, and I need to know what model I have before I can even attempt to start making repairs... Looking forward to any replies... First, make a title that tells helpers something about your question. Many will skip "please help" titles.

We have nothing to go on. Post a pic (see instructions in the Non-boating Tech forum).

So I guess I need a Photobucket account or something similar to post photos, is that it? Uggg, I can not believe I can't find a picture of a boat like mine, even on Google images. Wouldn't it be cool if I had some rare Penn Yan model worth TONS of money... Ha..LOL, that just wouldn't be my luck. Probably more like a model that no parts are available for and isn't worth the fiberglass it's made out of... Thanks for the quick replies fellas, I'll get the hang of this sooner than later, kinda like I will when it comes to purchasing boats. Take care!

I called my wife and got her to pull out the title, after trying to explain to her what info I was looking for, this is what I came up with. The only thing she could find on the title is the fact that it is a 1975 Penn Yan and there was a Hull ID# 28318. Does the Hull ID mean anything?

That is probably the serial #. There should be 3 letters before it, and 4 characters after it.

you may never know and you certainly dont need to know to start fixing her up....if you cant find a picture of it online I would guess you are not going to be able to find original parts for it anyway.....If you need seats you can find 10,000 seats for sale on-line, bilge pumps, engine parts, railings, canvas, fiberglass repair kits, none of it is model or make specific....dont sweat and fix her up and get it running.....
