There never was a kit made for that pump. Not only that, the pump has been obsolete for about 30 years. You have to replace it with a more modern one. 18-7350 or 18-7351 from here at iboats will work.

I couldnt accept that I had to pay for a whole new pump body, very sturdy is the original, so I simply cut new gaskets from some material I had left over from working on briggs and stratton engines. The material was very close to what was there. Cost about 20 cents and 10 min. Primed it and it started right up. Maybe Theres a market here.

The inner gasket, closets to the engine that is made of a thick brown type paper, that pulsates creating the vaccum was dried out.

You made a paper diaphragm? I wish you luck. It is supposed to be a fuel-proof rubber material. Better take a paddle.

The pump has two gaskets, one is the thin black rubbery type, the other is a brown paper type.
