motor id

Can anyone help me ID this old outboard motor I just traded for? I got the motor running pretty easy but the only id type numbers I can find on it is the following numbers double stamped 463 52435 any help would be greatly apprciated

Air or water cooled? How many cylinders? Rope or electric start? Two stroke or four stroke? Anything printed on the cowling?

Give us some useful info, cowboy. How about a pic?

Okay I will have to work on the pic thing but I think I can. It is air cooled with a pull rope only has one cylinder and is a two stroke. I showed it to a guy here that thought he could tell and he thought it is a pre 49 model and kinda thought it might be an evinrude but he really didnt know. Thats really all I know or (dont know) about it other than it starts up easy and runs good., i WILL WORK ON THAT PIC THANKS FOR THE HELP
