No oil pressure on gauge: 3.0L

I have a Mercruiser 3.0L with SN 0W334198 in a 2005 model Sun Tracker pontoon which just started showing no oil pressure on the gauge. I just replace the starter/solenoid and am wondering if I disconnected a wire to the oil pressure sender.

I need to know where the oil pressure sender is located on the engine and how best to trouble shoot this problem.

The gauge is actually reading below the zero pressure mark on the gauge.

Welcome.

The pressure sender is on the starboard side of the engine just above the front of the starter.

It's probably the one with the wire missing or broken.

The wire goingt o the oil pressure sensor on mine is light blue and I did have to take it off to get the wires off of the starter. Mine had a little press on boot. Look for the light blue wire that is probably just hanging off of your starter wiring harness.
