After an engine rebuild I have fitted the Volvo Penta 290 SP leg back on. The steering now pulls to the right quite strongly. I think the small torque rudder below the exhaust outlet has been moved in transit. Trouble is I can't remember which way I need to set it.
If it pulls to the right with a left turn prop, do I set the trim rudder further to the right?

From a Volvo Penta AquaMatic operator's manual...

ADJUSTING COURSE DEVIATION
Check for any course deviation by cautiously releasing the wheel while the boat is planing. If the boat veers to port, undo the trim tab under the caviation plate. Then turn the trim tab to port and lock it in this position. Test run the boat. Continue adjustment if the boat still tends to veer to port. Reverse the adjustment for starboard deviation.

Thanks for that. I'll give it a go on Friday.
