exhaust manifold question!

i have a 1980 merc 260 5.7l v-8 with log manifolds and the riser that go straight down to the Y pipe. I want to do a thru hull exhaust conversion, and im wondering if the center riser manifolds with the straight back riser will work on my engine? it is a 350 chevy.

Ayuh,... Going to Center Riser Manifolds is the Only way you're goin' Thru-hull....

hopefully it sounds super beasty. I always enjoy a good through hull exhaust as it pulls by in idle...they sound sweet.
