I'm ordering parts for my rebuild and have a question about the crankcase seal rings. I've included a link to a scan of the exploded view from my parts manual. The rings are listed as Reference #22--Crankshaft seal ring-- and Reference #60--Crankcase seal ring set--on the exploded view. The part numbers associated with those are:
#22-->#310041. Quantity listed as 1.
#60-->#378427 Quantity listed as 1.
Am I correct in thinking that only (1) SET of #60 is needed-which includes (2) individual rings-and (1) single #22 is needed? This would be a total of (3) rings for the crankcase. Are the rings #22 and #60 different sizes? OR, are all the rings the same size and #22 just refers to a single part whereas #60 refers to a set of all of the rings that are needed for that crankcase? Thanks.
