Has anybody experienced a stucked open shutter in Y pipe (mercruiser V8 350)

If yes, please refer the engine's behaviour.Personally my new carburated 350 has vibration and overheating.Signs of rust at #7 spark plug.Would a stuck shutter cause the water to get in the exhaust manifold?

I`d have to say not very likely but a bad/leaking exaust manifold /riser or riser joint will.

I also think it 's the riser gasket but if you know the symptoms of a stuck opened shutter or clogged Ypipe please let me know
