Hello to everyone, my name is macko58 and I have a fuel problem.

Having trouble correcting an intermittent fuel starvation problem. When running at speed engine sometimes cuts out. We pump up the ball and start over. This will happen several times and then the engine runs normally. One thing that may help is the last time it happened I would pump the ball back up about every 20 seconds to keep the engine from cutting out. The ball would be soft but not flat and I would pump it until hard. When the ball could not be pumped up the problem was gone and the engine operated normally.

Any ideas ?

Change the fuel line and ball (OEM, no aftermarket stuff) from the tank to the pulse pump. Check both quick connect ends if they are still there. Check the tank vent. If it still does it, rebuild the pulse pump..........

You also can run it on external tank to take the anti siphon valve out of the equation.

Just rebuild the fuel pump with new diaphrams and check valves, common problem on EFI engines as VST tank cannot be kept full . Part #21-857005A1 about $21
