Thinking about adding to my stable. Very small stable. Looking at a Starcraft-Jupiter, not sure what year but has a mid 70's Merc 90 hp. Guy says Merc is mechanic certified, whatever that means. Also say no leaks. Boat looks clean, and water worthy as is. Wants $1000 for it. From what I've read, price looks good but like to check with you guys. Any opinions?? Thanks

Great boat. Just sold my '66 on Saturday. They are very stable, however will beat you a bit in the chop. Also are a nice light boat and easily towable. The 90 is probably it's max rated horsepower so it should move out great with that motor.

Rick - I checked out your pictures before I posted the question. From what I can tell, this boat doesn't need much so the grand they're asking for it with a running Merc should be a good deal. Thanks for the reply.
