I'm replacing the interior trim peices on my boat. The one plywood backer is 3 peices with different angles. The factory used hinges and staples to hold it all together.I was going to make some pb to join the peices together then bolt them fast to the boat till it dried. I was planing on using wax paper between the wood and boat so that the epoxy doesn't attach to the boat. Will this work?

Yeah that works. The glue might run a bit. If you wax the boat itself, it'll help any bobo's from sticking to the boat also.

I highly recommend release fabric. It is relatively inexpensive, gives a far better surface, and allows excess resin to pass through. Excess resin in composites actually reduces the strength of the part and makes it brittle. I've done a lot of composite work, mostly on offshore racing sailboats, and while you don't need to go as far as vacuum bagging you'll be amazed at the results you get using release fabric.
