I have a 21 ft 2000 Triton TR21 and the top color is white. I am wanting to either change to top color or just re-clear the white again. What is the best way to bring the white back out to a good shine? Should I buff it or clear it again? It isn't dull but not shiny enough to see yourself in it anymore. If I were to change to top color what would I need to do and what type of color and clear should I use? I dont' want to use a gelcoat just clear that I can spray myself. I am a auto collision tech so spraying it isn't a problem. I also have this issue. The blue stripes that are the trademark for Triton are faded really bad. I want to repaint that. The color is so faded that you can rub your hands over the stripes and feel the flake in it. What do I need to do to fix that? I am thinking sand and just apply a new color over it or can I just re-clear it and it will bring it back to life? All the help I can get would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to bring this boat back to life from the previos owner. After this I am tackling the carpet.
