I have a DF200 on my boat and the tilt is the working up or down. The boat is in the water in the down position at my dock on the lake. Is there a way to manually tilt the engine up so I can get it up enough to navigate through my shallow canal to the boat ramp and on the trailer for repair. When I hit the switch the motor runs but it will not move the engine. I believe the seal went.

In the manual they mention manual tilting but I cannot figure out how to do it.

Re: Suzuki DF200 manual tilting

welcome to iboats!!!

you should have a "manual release" valve on the starboard transom bracket..... you only need to turn it 1-1.5 turns and it should release, any further could result in thread damage to the valve on the retainer clip.

it sounds like you need some fluid if you can hear the trim motor but it doesnt move.

when i was looking for mine i felt like a dunce when i found it because it said "manual release" right beside it...... of course mine was on a trailer lol....... and i also should add i had to ask where it was too.
