Well the other day i lost oil pressure had aan oil leak and was trying to diagnose where it was .. Well today I did a stupid thing-I reversed polarity when putting the battery back in to start her up and see where the first problem now i created a second problem... Its a merc 4.0 L 1996 .. I only reversed the cables for a few seconds but the alternator started to cook. Well I righted the battery and I have no spark -seems the alternator and starter are possibly ok but no spark -The igniton system has a delco est. No spark what am i looking at here guys? The engine is cranking up but not turning over.Im thinking its the electronic module ..
