Hows it going boating world

We just picked up our seconed boat and I figured I'ed join a boating forum as I do with cars

We bought a 2001 Bayliner Capri 160 about 2 years ago from a family friend. Kept it by our house near the Mississippi river and we got hooked. We were tired of the kyak feel of the bayliner so we traded it in for this Montery 218 this weekend

Hello I too am new to iboats. Just got my first boat a gimme from a neighbor will need some tlc but having a problem maybe someone can help. It is a model 15 sterncraft had absolutely no luck finding anything online has stick steering which till got boat had not ever seen. appearently used on fishing boats used in coves and on small lakes. Has a mercury 500 thunderbolt motor says 50 hp but don't know how to verify. The neighbor who gave it to me- claims gave to him by homeowners who was moving and didn't want to move it too. no title no nothing. title search on boat and motor found boat with one owner and motor registered to another claiming was 150 hp don't think it was registed correctly. After I am able to verify legit and get clear title will start on refurb for me and my 6 year old to toodle on the lake. Sorry got off topic if anyone has a photo of a sterncraft model 15 I would greatly appreciate it. I would likt to know what it should look like before I start with what I want it to look like.
