Hello All,

I've been a member of a few other boating forums for quite awhile so I'm not sure why it took me so long to find these forums.

Seems like an active board and I look forward to learning and contributing.

I currently own a 2008 Sea Ray 280 Sundancer as shown below. I live in Minnesota and keep her slipped on Lake Minnetonka. She's all bundled up and stored for the winter so these forums help me pass the time until spring.

Welcome aboard, You will find a good group of people here with all kinds of boats and a lot of information. This place is a lot like the brand specific board we are a member of, CSR. We also have a company store here that we try and support, after all it supports this free forum. Again welcome aboard

Ahoy, TB! :) Welcome aboard.

I lived in Mound for a while back in '81 and did my boating/fishing on Minnetonka. It was deadly dangerous to be on the water on a weekend even then, so be careful.

Thanks everyone, glad to be here.

I don't think Tonka is that dangerous ;) !?!? The weekends do get crowded but I prefer to sneak out during the week as often as possible. I actually enjoy the weekend crowds too -- lots of people and boat watching.

Welcome aboard, TB.

There are some unruly members around here that you have to watchout for (don't worry, Bob, I won't name any names ... but there is a saying that says you keep your friends close and your enemies closer ... so look for the "moderator" or "keep closer" label ;):p:D ), but all in all, a great group of guys and gals!

Welcome to the funny farm!

Since 'speck opened the door . . . what kind of oil do you use? Crimp or solder? Epoxy or Poly? Antifreeze or drain?

Welcome aboard TB, nice rig ya got there:D

Glad you found the best boating site on the net...should help the winter doldrums(we are gearing up for a doozy here in Mich also)...enjoy:D

I'd hope that your boat has a large enough profile that the other Minnetonka boaters give you a wide berth;)

Welcome Tonka, iboats rules say you have to share your ride with us. We'll all be there on the 3rd weekend of June. You have to supply the beer as well. It's OK, there aren't many of us.
