My engine, was not speeding up when i tried to speed faster. I opened the 3 carbs and cleaned them manually. Did not use sprays or any other solvent. Just rubbed them with soft cloth . The lowest carb had a float chamber full of a white thing, and the entrance valve, was stuck open, so when i pumped gasoline inside it came in without stop.
When i cleaned them , i put them back to their position and was hoping that it would run fine. I tried the engine in an barrel with water. It starts but after a few seconds it dies. When it tried to raise the lever, to go faster, it died again. After i did this a few times, the engine would not start at all. I used the emergency start with the red swith , and it start, but when i closed this , it died.
In the middle carb, there is a screw with a spring . This is grooved to the end. It seats completely. I tried to turn it to the left, but it is not possible. Is this supposed to turn? The other 2 similar screws with the spring , turn to the left, and i put them 1, 1/2 turn to the left.
Any idea of anything else i could do?
I also have photos, if there is some way to send them to somebody for help

thanks for any help provided.

Sounds like a major carb cleaning is in order along with checking the rest of the fuel system. Finding ( a float chamber full of a white thing) is not good and not being able to turn screws that should move is a major problem. You may want to do it yourself or take it to someone that knows what they are doing, but white stuff does not sound good.

A manual would be a good start, along with some carb cleaner. open the carb you will see a black rubber stopper looking thing, pull that off and your main jet is under that. unscrew it with a flat blade screwdriver then blast it clean with carb cleaner and maybe poke it with a small piece of wire. Then clean all other holes and passage ways and when you think it is clean enough, clean it again. And keep the carb cleaner away from the rubber parts,it will destroy them.

Dear friends,
thank you very much for your help. i indeed opened again the carbs, and used a spray cleaner. I opened all the valves as you told me and they were dirty. The main jet under the plastic cup, was full of salt like stuff. Anyway , not my engine signs as a bird. In idle it works fine.
Unfortunately , in the middle of the 3 carbs, i tried to turn the regulating valve screw, i put big pressure, and the screw was broken inside the cap. At some time i will have to change the whole cup.

Thank you again for your help and your directions
