Need source for replacement merc 260

May have to replace my 1981 merc 260 motor. Any recommendations on a good rebuilder source, in the midwest, would be appreciated.

I 2nd Rapido.......just completed my 2nd season with my Rapido 5.7L Vortec.
Have ~140hrs on it w/ no problems.......good price and Raul will work with you.

Go with Vortec heads.......but you will need a matching intake manifold.....make sure the casting numbers on the heads are 906 or 062's.

You can get the new motor from Rapidos for an extra 150 bucks. Go for it...
