I have a mid-1990s Loadmaster trailer that came with my 21' center console I bought three years ago. The boat stays in the water year-round, so the trailer is only used once a year when we pull the boat for annual maintenance. Otherwise the trailer is stored outdoors.
After I bought the boat I had the trailer fixed up with new brakes, new bunk carpets and LED lights.
In a couple of weeks I need to retrieve the trailer for its annual outing. Before taking it to the boat, I was planning on checking pressure and condition of tires, condition of bunks, and verify that the lights work.
But I'm a little unsure what would be the procedure on checking or maintaining the bearings. Would there normally be a fitting on each wheel that I'd shoot grease into? Is this usually visible in the hub?
Anything else I should check out before taking the boat on the road?
