Hello all, i'm very new at boating. I have a nautiglass v150 SM with a 65HP Suzuki 2Cyl. I'm from Melbourne and launch off Altona. I'm having trouble returning to the boat ramp, i cant get the boat to plane. It looks like it has to shift a lot of water to move, (if that makes any sense) has anyone with the same hull experienced this problem?

I cant really explain it, but the water seems to control the boats direction a lot. its constantly turning the boat left and right.

IS the motor or lowerunit lowering fully ? If it does not go down all the way, you will get extreme bow lift and you will be plowing water ( the bow will go left & right) Try tilting all the way down & see if it looks like it starts to "tuck under"... IF it does not go down all the way- thats probably the problem.

Thx ill give it a go. it looks like the motor can go down a little more by moving some bolts on the trim, they look like stoppers but ive got an electric trim. should i remove them? it'll allow the motor to drop back a further 2"

Cheers

Give that a try. Once you rule the trim out as an issue, we'll go from there.
