Nice looking boat. I must say, though, that sheer line is unlike most any other Chris I've seen. I'll be interested to learn more once someone can id her.

Edit - I should clarify. It doesn't look like any modern CC I've seen. The lines do somewhat resemble their Sea Skiff model from circa mid-sixties..but this must be newer than that...

The registration and insurance would identify it for you.

Year?

It looks a lot like a Cutlass. Right length, but the only ones I've seen (two) are straight V-8 inboard powered. Cutlass model is a classic. I stepped outside to look at my neighbor's but it's all covered up and I can't compare the two very well.

The Cutlass has a unique characteristic. It was designed by Ray Hunt (famous for sailboat design), and the bottom of the hull is rounded at the stern, like a sailbost. They're heavy and built like a friggin' tank. Very seaworthy for their size.

Good luck!

Definately a Chris Craft Cutlass. I have a 1965 in my yard to be restored. Great fishing boat!

If that boat is from the 60's, it's a good example of a classic "timeless" design. Some lines just never go out of style, and look great anytime. I hope it works out for you.

It was made as a center console, and I think they had a walk-around cuddy model, too (don't quote me on that). The 2 I'm personally familiar with are both center consoles

I like the boat more and more everyday. I purchased it yesturday! My wife and I set ideas down and couldn't be happier. It really does have the classic -never-out-of-style feel....

-Now, The boat does not have any HP rating or capacity/persons rating... any idea? I know at 18' it's 5people... but after that, do I just add a person per foot? That may have sounded dumb....
