I have an '06 Yammy F60 TLR.
Motor has recently had a fuel system overhaul and was all systems go on computer diagnostics, leak down, and compression tests. Motor started off running fine and smooth, but wouldn't develop power over 4000rpm. Then began to shake badly and make awful regurgitating motions. Took a look under the cover and saw that the flywheel ate up an improperly routed hose. Left a fine black dust over everything under the cowling. Had to limp back to the dock. Found a smooth operating zone at 2500rpm, anything above or below would shake you to death.
The hose in question is connected to the Solenoid Valve and routed to the throttle body, to my understanding it routes vapor gas. Could the destruction of this hose cause the problems above? And would a simple replacement of the hose be sufficient, or are there other items that need to be checked? I'm afraid the black dust got sucked into something it shouldn't have. Also, I noticed that the backend of a screw hole on the throttle body assembly that's a part of the intake manifold appears to have blown out. Not sure if it had been like that for a while or could possibly be a result of this issue, and whether that is a cause for concern.
Thanks guys for all your help!
