I broke the door latch catch on my head. Its a plastic U shaped piece of plastic that holds the door closed. Any places I can just order the catch and not the whole door knob assembly?

My apologies but I had to laugh at that answer.

A picture of the latch would help, but in the mean time, why not visit the hardware section of your local home improvement store (cabinet hardware section) or your local hardware store for a possible alternative. So many folks think that because a part is on a boat that marine outlets are the only place to get parts.

Here's the latch. A crappy picture of the broken piece. Can't find my good camera.

I bet you can find something that works the same and in brass at a good hardware store- it loks like a common strike plate to me.

Looks very similar to a common screen door latch.

Looks repairable to me.

I would try J-B Weld (available at most hardwares). Sand or scuff-up the glue ends and lay it on a piece of saran wrap when you lineup the pieces. Should be good to go in about 24 hours.

I want to replace it with metal. Kids are roughy on it.

I found the part at the Hardware store. Ace push button screen door latch.
