I have a pair of 2000 200 hpdi?s (748.0hrs)
These motors have performed without problems and still are running fine.
Today I was changing out the racor 10mic pre-motor fuel filters and all went well. Filled the new filters and fired the motors on the muffs and both motors ran fine.
I did remove both cowlings before firing and was able to observe that the starboard motors clear sight bowl was only a little more than half full as the motor ran. The motor ran fine and I was able to squeeze the fuel bulb and fill it but it drained back down as the motor ran.
Port motor sight bowl was full the entire time and that motor also ran fine.
~I have always changed the racor pre-motor filters every 100hrs.
~Both motors running fine.
Will the starboard sight bowl fill all the way upon putting the boat in the water and putting a load on it? Not sure how long it has been this way as I have never noticed it.
Looking for a little insight, thanks in advance
