tilt switch problem

Need a bit of advice on a tilt switch issue. The remote swith on the throttle will not activate the tilt but the switch on the outboard still works fine. Any advice is much appreciated. Motor is a 60 hp mercury outboard.

I have a similar problem with my 1994 75 HP Marnier on a 1995 Polar boat. The motor/trailer switch works perfect however, the throttle switch only operates the trim up. The throttle is a Quicksilver but I have no idea what model/#. Can someone help with the throttle ID # and how to change the switch?

Need to replace the trim switch in both cases. Doug Russell Marine is where I got mine. Search parts catalog Quicksilver,then remote controls volume 1,and vol 2 till you find your particular remote. Easy to change but you will have to remove the side mounted controllers like the commander 2000. dougrussell.com
