I have an old evinrude motor. I think i found the year to be between 1939-41. The number on it is 426401767. Its its fairly good condition and I think it still runs. Anyone have any idea on what it's worth? Thanks for any help.

That is a 1939-41 Elto Cub 1/2hp. The first outboard motor I ever remember. I was a little kid and scared to death. Pretty popular among collectors. Peter Hunn's guide says $20-$125. In the real world, what do you want for it?
Interesting that it didn't really go up much in value since the 40's. I think it sold for around $60 in it's day. Not sure if I'm going to sell it now.
