1989 seaswirl fuel issue

I have a 1989 seaswirl 4.3L I/O. I have replaced the carb and fuel filters. Engine starts up fine and idols great. at higher RPMs I'm not getting enough fuel to the carb. This is a manual fuel pump. Any suggections?

Ayuh,... Check the Tank, fuel lines,+ the Rest of the fuel System....

....which includes a pressure/vacuum test of the fuel pump and checking the tank vent for obstructions!!!!!!
