Help Identify Outboard

Hello, I got a manuel for all yamaha motors and need to find the model or serial number for mine. There is no serial number as it was either painted over or came off. Is there a place on there motor where there is either a model or serial number? ( I looked all over it and cant find one) I am having trouble posting pics but I could e-mail them to you if you wish to help me out. I think the year is 2000 but not sure. I have found some numbers but dont know what they are, FL 124-04 FP9901 and 399017

look for a silver welch plug on the block-the serial will be stamped in it...a Yammie serial number has 2 numbers and 2 letters then 6 or 7 digits...find that and post it or send me a PM

The plug has the following numbers 399017, how can I find the model number?
