2004 Merc 6.2L MPI Bravo 3 OM 686392. My #31 service manual shows the heat exchanger connections for the MX, closed cooled model, but mine is seawater cooled MPI. I just want to take hot water from the engine and run it through my cabin heat, (heater craft) with just one hose in and one hose out.
Can anyone tell me the best place to hook some heater hoses to get the maximum heat, and not take away anything from my motor?

Ayuh,.... There'll be a 1/2" pipe plug in the intake manifold, aft of the T-stat housing,..
That's hotwater out,....
Return is to the 1/2" pipe plug on the circulating water pump....

That's the one I was going for, but it looks like the Hot water heater is already using them...
Is there a nother source or can I just interrupt that?

You can share them, but I'd put a shut off valve to each heater, so if you need hot water, you can shut off the heater, and shut off the water heater when it's not going to be needed to get better performance from the heater, and use pipe insulation on the hoses for better efficiency.
